FOIF Daily Training——Dominica

In 2024, FOIF and FOIF official dealer in Dominica: Jimenez & pina Survey instruments (with the best in service, warranty, technical support) worked together to hold a surveying skills training course in the Dominican Republic. The training aims to improve the professional skills of surveyors in the Dominican Republic and deepen their understanding and application of the surveying instruments. The training course covered a variety of surveying equipment of FOIF, including the RTS010N Android total station, GNSS A90 RTK and auto levels.

During the training, our expert team explained in detail the performance characteristics, operation procedures and calibration methods of each device. Through practical operation, the trainees experienced the excellent performance of these surveying and mapping equipment. In particular, in the study of the RTS010N Android total station, the trainees were impressed by the operability, flexibility and powerful application software of its Android system, and expressed their desire to apply this device to actual work to improve surveying and mapping efficiency and accuracy.

As the representative work of FOIF in the field of GNSS, A90 has won the favor of the trainees with its full constellation, high performance and high precision. During the training, the trainees learned how to use A90 for measurement and CAD graphics layout, etc.

In addition, the training on level instruments also benefited the trainees a lot. They mastered the basic operation methods of level instruments and understood how to measure, calculate and adjust, laying a solid foundation for future surveying and mapping work.

The successful holding of this training course not only deepened the cooperative relationship between the Dominican agent and FOIF, but also improved the professional skills of surveying and mapping practitioners further in the Dominican region. The trainees expressed their desire to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned to actual work and contribute to the development of infrastructure in the Dominican Republic.
